Ghanaian Neo-Soul Singer Lady Jay has vowed to never work with Juls again . She cited disrespect on the part of the UK-Based Ghanaian producer as the reason for her decision.
According to Lady Jay, Juls gave an instrumental to an artiste named Boj for a song she is featured on. However , she recently discovered the same instrumental had been given to another artiste. A situation that made the Venus hitmaker furious.
The singer who is currently in Canada made her displeasure known via her official twitter account.
She posted:
”

As per Lady Jay’s tweets , one begins to wonder if the instrumental in question had been paid for and for how long Lady Jay and Boj have had the instrumental in their possession without using it.
Answers to these questions might explain the motive behind Juls withdrawing his instrumental.
Juls , is a BBnZ signed DJ/producer who is known for producing a number hit songs such as Mr Eazi’s Bankulize , Anointing , Skin Tight as well as Holl’Up.

Information Flex newspaper is getting from grape vine has it that all is not well between Stonebwoy Burnitton and his producer Beatz Dakay over alleged money sharing.
A source very close to the two individuals in this whole story who wants to remain anonymous has informed Flex newspaper that Beatz Dakay is really frustrated about this whole confusion because he has been let down by the artiste he has sacrificed for all this while. Below are some of the frustrating issues he told Flex newspaper about on phone last week.
“Beatz Dakay had earlier demanded for a percentage sharing of all gigs Stonebwoy will play because he does not charge him for the production. He demanded for 20% but Stonebwoy was only ready to give 5%. Again Stonebwoy has now set up his own studio in his house and instead of using his known producer Beatz Dakay for his works, he is rather using a young producer who goes by the name Awaga and was trained by Beatz Dakay. Meanwhile, Beatz Dakay set up the studio for Stonebwoy in his house but he has been ignored from using it.
After the first demand from Beatz Dakay, Stonebwoy got angry, went to Dakay`s studio and angrily broke some glasses in his studio which has left his studio not looking good. The source continued that Stonebwoy even threatened to come there again to do more if he continues to worry his peace with money. Beatz Dakay is also frustrated because at the moment, his wife is about to give birth or has given birth and there seems to be no money saved to take care of mother and baby. He has been busy with works from Stonebwoy to the extent that he has sacked most musicians with that attitude.
that according to our source, that ended the whole transaction between the two talents who are at each others throat now. When was the last time you saw Beatz Dakay backing Stonebwoy on a stage? our source said more than has been captured.
To present a balanced story and to confirm what is really happening, Flex newspaper called Beatz Dakay to explain what is really happening to him but he denied any of such allegations and even added that he was the brain behind the current song from Stonebwoy “Nkulenu) meanwhile guys following tweets from Stonebwoy have also confirmed the song mentions Awaaga as the producer.
Manager of Stonebwoy who goes by the name Black Cedi in an interview with Flex newspaper has also hinted that he is not ready to talk about this issue for now until further notice. Meanwhile, a post by one long time friend of Stonebwoy which was re-posted by Beatz Dakay but later deleted from his time line on Facebook sums the whole show up.

In the post, the guy Shatta Wan talked about someone sacking people who helped him to cook but now that the food is ready, he wants to eat alone. The story unfolds and Flex newspaper promises to bring you all the new developments.
Beefs seemed to take major attention last year and it seems to have moved into 2017. Starting the year with a heated beef between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy, the beef has crossed borders and has hit Ghana and Nigeria.
It all started when Mr Eazi, a popular Starboy act tweeted his opinion about how Ghanaian sounds influenced Nigerian present day artistes. This seemed not to go down well with Nigerians as they descended down on the Hol’UP hitmaker and rained heavy insults at him.

While some musicians, entertainment critics, showbiz persons and people who just wanted banter tweeted their concerns, most people seem to agree to the school of thought that, Ghana has influenced a lot of artistes from different countries including big artistes from Nigeria which included Fela, Wizkid, Patoranking, Flavor as well as PSquare.

Other Nigerians also lamented that, Mr Eazi who served as a bridge between Ghana And Nigeria has disrespected Nigerians even when they welcomed him wholeheartedly after he had been snubbed by the VGMAs.
Though all the opinions make a lot of sense, it is the banter that makes this whole drama exciting. Here are some of the tweets we came across:
It’s not Mr Eazi’s fault o, it’s Tekno that gave him chance…
Don’t come to Nigeria o, keep eating your concoction rice in Kumasi???— Otunba⚓️Billz (@AsistantBoyfrnd) January 12, 2017
Flavor stole an entire song by Wutah. fam why are we arguing?
— Andy (@kwamedracula) January 12, 2017
@wizkidayo goodevejng sir…your signee said Ghana has influence on daddy yo ? https://t.co/rBy80PPNI5
— Adefowora (@Adebolaa_O) January 11, 2017
Nigerians have interpreted "influence" to mean "copy" and that's why they are so annoyed
— G!ambit (@SmylyThe3rd) January 12, 2017
Officially, Mr Eazi has apologized. Though some are still angry, Nigerians have embraced the fact that Ghana and Nigeria will still be one people after our beefs with football, jollof rice and now music.
Mr Eazi is however preparing steadily for his upcoming mixtape titled Life is Eazi which comes out on 11th February this year.

Ghanaian Music Producer Mark Okraku-Mantey , has threatened to sue rapper Sarkodie over his cover of the song Kokooko.
Kokooko , which is a tribute by Sarkodie to the late Daasebre Dwamena , was sampled from the original song by Ghanaian music producer Jayso, something Okraku-Mantey is not happy with, as he claims the sampling was done without his permission and approval.
Okraku-Mantey has therefore threatened to seek redress in court (according to KMJ on Hitz 103.9FM and monitored by www.entertainmentgh.com) . Kokooko was one of the songs that gave Daasebre Dwamena mainstream acclaim and featured Lord Kenya. The artistes were both signed to Okraku-Mantey’s music label, Slip Music.
The tribute song debuted at Sarkodie’s RapperHolic concert at the Accra International Conference Center on December 25, 2016.
