Ghanaian Rapper Cabum has just launched his debut album ‘The Beginning’ the event was held at Vienna City, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, and was graced by the likes of Flowking Stone, Gemini, Kofi Kapone , Eno, D Cryme, Tinny and other invited guests.
The performances were all filled with energy and the crowd reaction was massive. Before the end of the show Cabum made a special invite to his entourage, guests and all who made the show and the album a success on stage.

One person who caught the eye of the crowd (eye of our Cameras) was Ntelabi, Ntelabi was spotted in the VIP lounge and on stage. After a long hibernation, this seems to be Ntelabi’s first official appearance after his name switch from Drilix. Ntelabi did not grant any interviews for time being but stated he will break his long hibernation with a smashing musical masterpiece.

Ntelabi thrilled the audience at Wan-O’s ‘King’ video premiere with yet another energetic performance at KONA Bar last week, 25/05/2017.
The rapper performed old songs off his old projects and reiterated the name change from Drilix to Ntelabi as announced by the MC and thanked well-wishers for their support. He further hinted on new music to be released in a few weeks’ time.
The video premiere was supported by performances from Adomaa, CJ Biggermnan, Fortune Dane, Kwachi Adie, Wan-O himself among others who rocked the stage too.
Here are some shots from the premiere:

Okyeame Kwame Awarded in Germany for His Contributions to Pan-Africanism
Okyeame Kwame, with numerous awards and titles under his belt has received yet another one; an honour given to him by Interkulterelle Migraten Integrations Centre (IMAC) for his contribution towards Pan-Africanism, positivity in youth culture.
An event which came off on the 27th May 2017 at a week commemoration of the African Union’s Day in Wandsbek Marktplatz, Hamburg in Germany hosted an array of politicians, artistes, entertainment figures and top-celebrated personalities including Ghana’s former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings
In a celebration of the day and among other events was a prestigious, presentation of the award to musician Okyeame Kwame by Hon. Rasheed Pelpuo.
Speaking to the development, event organiser Mrs Sylvaina Gerlich stated that there was the need to positively impact the youth and that those abroad look up to their celebrities in Ghana. And so when the organisation found one who was positively inspiring the youth they needed to honor him to serve as an example for the young ones home to emulate.
This accolade goes adds to Okyeame Kwame’s enviable laurels: the key to the city of Cincinnati, the USA’s Presidential Service Award among others.

The world has produced prolific female rap lyricists who have over the years fought spots with men who dominates the genre. However, the Ghanaian music circle has been lacking female rap talents until the sudden emergence of Eno, a potent female rapper, whose lyricism and goddess-like performance struck many mouths open in wordless supplications at the prestigious Ghana Meets Naija, 2017.
The plush event witnessed performances from key industry players such as: Shatta Wale, M.anifest God mc, Nigeria’s bad guy Falz, the sensational Davido, Tiwa Savage etc. with Eno being the opening act of the evening with a weird costume that left the public talking even after the event, setting the tone for many energetic performances that followed after she chanted her verses to her countless thousands of “Eno freaks” breathtakingly.

The rap queen, from the commencement of her career, defeated the opposite sex in rap battles, recorded hits with popular Ghanaian musical virtuosos like Stonebwoy, Yaa Pono, Shatta Wale, Kwaw Kese and eventually attracting further recognition in the West African Region by chalking a collaboration with the multiple award winning Togolese rapper Mic Flammez, who doubles as Togocel Brand Ambassador. She put up a dramatic scene which entails her rise from a casket depicting the rise of Yaa Asantewa the fearless Ghanaian pride.
Answering questions on why she has stopped releasing songs as frequent as she used to, Eno cited branding as a powerful arsenal that is sure to propel her career to unimaginable heights and so created a buffer so as to make time to polish her already appealing personality and to fine-tune her craft in order to cement her spot as the undisputed Queen of Rap across Africa.

Eno also urged her fans and chronic music enthusiasts to look forward to her upcoming project dubbed “Yaa Asantewaa”, which houses unearthly punchlines and strategic delivery. Doubled her controversial performance comes with her promo photos to kick start her new look and brand.

Ghana Meets Naija 2017, I must say, is one of the most successful shows held this year.
The fun packed show saw performances from various artistes including, Shatta Wale, Manifest, Davido, Tiwa Savage, etc. After several performances from some of the acts billed, the second most important item on the program, the Battle of the best DJ between DJ Lord(Ghana) and DJ Obi (Nigeria) successfully took place. During the fierce battle something really uncalled for happened and it was so unprofessional. This got us wondering where the security was.
In the heat moments of the second round when DJ Lord was giving the crowd back to back hits, he mixed Yaa Pono’s diss song, Gbee Naabu with other jamming tunes which made the crowd go crazy. This did not go on well with Shatta Wale’s brother who was backstage by then. He got furious with the fact that DJ Lord played a song that was a diss to his brother. A bodyguard was then sent to warn DJ Lord on stage but seconds later Shatta Wale’s brother climb the podium himself to warn him to stop “fooling”. Why would he get so furious? After all its a musical night where so many songs are being played. Put aside the fact that Shatta Wale was on the show which he also performed his diss song to Yaa Pono. This is totally uncalled for.

Stonebwoy has not been on the Ghana Meets Naija concert stage for 2 years , with increasing concerns from fans and music lovers.
Stonebwoy’s road manager – Sidi Mohammed (Blakk Cedi) has taken the opportunity to calm fears of issues between Stonebwoy’s camp and that of Empire Entertainment (Organizers of the event). He issued a statement via his official facebook account to that effect. The statement read :
” CLARIFICATION
For sometime now,I have been receiving messages from fans of Stonebwoy asking if my team has issues with EMPIRE ENTERTAINMENT(Organisers Of Ghana Meets Naija). The worry is that, they haven’t seen my brother on for the 2nd time in 2years.
No,there are no issues and we are contacted each year at their planning stages.Unfortunately for us and them,It always coincides with other shows that make their bookings a little ahead of the PRESTIGIOUS GHANA MEETS NAIJA.
We are working on correcting this and hope to be on next year God willing as our lovely fans wish.
THANK YOU
