Eno Barony who is popularly known for hit songs like “Juicy Me, Tw3d33, King of Queens, Touch your body” and a couple of other songs is actually collaborating for the second time with a fellow female artiste in the music scene. This time she hooked up with Sista Afia, who is also known for her hit song “jeje” which features dancehall act SHATTA WALE.

These divas new project might be the first ever to actually promote female collaboraton in the Ghanaian music industry, since it is often said females don’t usually get along so well when it comes to collaborating in the music industry, though there have been some top-notch features done by some female artistes like Efya, Eazzy, Tiffany, Mzvee et al not much can be said about other females coming together to collaborate on a joint.

Information reaching the media is that ”both the song and video which is about to hit the airwaves will put both fans of these ladies on the edge of their seats.”
Visuals for the song was shot by Dir. Henry, in a serene environment within a nature resort, pinpointing out its uniqueness of girl power.

Di’Jaymatic Unveils Kula On fifth episode of the Monarchy Mixtape

After the successful release of the fourth episode of the Monarchy Mixtape featuring Abena Rockstar, and prior to the release of the sixth episode featuring TV/Radio Presenter and rapper, Jason EL A, The Rave unveils the fifth artiste to be featured on the year-long mixtape.

Kula is a rapper, singer and a producer who has worked with artistes from Ghana and beyond. “Despite being an upcoming artiste, Kula had a wide range of the good music to choose from.

The final list of songs that made the mixtape are really good songs which spread over his mixtapes “Ghageria 2” which featured Kellz, another upcoming talent based in Nigeria and The Experiment, in addition to other singles and collaborations”, the Rave stated.

He also continued to state emphatically choosing the songs that made the mixtape was the toughest decision he has ever faced since the inception of this mixtape series. “He had so many songs, which were all top notch, for the first time, I had a hard time choosing songs to add and which to exclude. Any good song that was eliminated was done to just reduce the length of the mixtape from being longer than normal.

It just surprises me that all this hardwork has been done by an upcoming artiste, and there’s no appreciation for it, which is very sad for the future of our industry. We need to start supporting our own, not just when they become mainstream or go international, but however when they are starting out.

Gafacci Feels Hard Done By Sarkodie After his Production on Highest Album Was Altered Without His Permission

Ghanaian music producer & Co – Founder of African Electronic Dance Music collective “JOWAA”- Gafacci, a few days ago took to social media platform – twitter, to pour out his frustrations with decisions Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie took with regards to a song on his Album without his (Gafacci’s) knowledge.

He revealed that Track 15 (All I Want Is You) off Sarkodie’s ‘Highest Album‘ which was originally composed with his production, had been altered without his permission. Although Sarkodie cleared the air via a radio interview, Gafacci felt the rapper could have done better.

He posted:

” An artiste will compose a song on your beat then ask another producer to remake another beat for the composition without ur knowledge. smh

The lack of integrity is really deep in some GH artiste

These things happen to up and coming producers but i never knew how serious it is till Sarkodie Show me say that f**kery is real.

I respect you man but If you want bloggers to do the right thing it’s time you do the same.

I no vex but this undermining is some slow sh*t. Staying up late at night to make beats is blood & sweat. Be professional bruh.

Nothing I fit do but I just want make people know this is real. Some of our artiste dey disregard our hardwork very often .

Track 15 on #highest album was originally composed with my production. But @sarkodie pull a fast one. Eh boys!

Let me make myself clear. If you are not a beatmaker you will never understand the motive behind my tweets. If some1 doesn’t communicate effectively with you pertaining a project that you are part of.Then goes on radio to speak about the reason why changes where made to your to your production.

I am in Kampala how am I suppose to know what’s been said on radio. B4 EVERYTHING. I am just a DM  ,EMAIL or call away.

Some say I gotto clear my head.Okay. I no vex guys. I am really having a good time in a different timezone .

Hyping me on radio is a smart move. The way you dm me after you get the beat. What happened when things needed to be reworked ?

If you are too quick to judge. How many producers have isrc codes for their production that’s been released commercially by an artist ?

Even if you ask politely for release information. You are likely to get blackballed.

I have worked with every important artiste in GH. Some are very understandable. Some just be autocratic. In this situation Sarkodie is. “

Lawrence Abrokwa has finally broken his silence on his public drama with his estranged wife Afia Schwarzenegger.

Speaking to Kofi Adoma in an interview moments ago via Facebook Live, Abrokwa denied several claims made by Afia — especially claims that she paid the wedding and her bride price.

According to Abrokwa, they had two weddings; one in Ghana and the other in South Africa. And he paid all the expenses for the two weddings.

Abrokwa also revealed that Afia is an irresponsible wife.  “Afia leaves the house 7 in the morning and comes home 1 am totally drunk,” he said.

When quizzed if he has regretted marrying Afia, the handsome macho man said he absolutely regrets — revealing that he had an ex who treated him like an angel but left her for a devil like Afia.

He also denied reports that he leaked the video. “Yes I did record my wife but the I never leaked the video to social media,” he told Kofi Adomah.

Magnom Shuts Down Accra With We Speed Concert Serallio Edition

Producer/ Artiste Magnom organised an electrifying concert that shut the capital down on Saturday evening. The concert was called the “We Speed Serallio Edition”.

“We Speed” because that is the name of his latest mixtape and “Serallio Edition” because he did a first concert at Champs on his birthday and this was organised on demand from his fans who missed out on the first one which happened on a Thursday.

Magnom brought out the full force of the new generation of artistes Kidi, Kwesi Arthur, B4Bonah, Darkovibes $pacely, Kwaku BS, RJZ and Kidd Black to bear on the concert. There were also cameo performances from older acts like Mz Vee and Gemini.

It is a fact that Magnom has paid his dues as an ace producer and the line up is proof of that; furthermore as an artiste he is still dishing out the level of consistency and dopeness ghat we have come to associate with his name with Bangers like “My Baby”, “Overfeed Me” and “Bam Bam” which also happened to be his songs that had the best response from the crowd on the night. It’s safe to say that it was an awesome concert . Check out some of the pictures below:
