Runtown Refused To Pay For My Beat, Now He Can’t Find The Song On Digital Stores – iPappi

Ghanaian music producer iPappi, has indicated that Nigerian musician Runtown, is suffering the consequences of not paying him for services. In a post on twitter last night, the producer said:

Runtown refused to pay for my own beat he used after sending him the invoice. Now he can’t find the song on digital stores anymore. That’s what u get for messing with a producer who know what he is doing… lmao

Runtown Refused To Pay For My Beat, Now He Can't Find The Song In Digital Stores

Ghanaian producers in recent times have been lamenting about the poor treatment and lack of respect they are subjected to by music artistes and have recently been on a mission to legally protect their services.  It therefore came as no surprise when iPappi a couple of months back signed a publishing deal with Sony Music but as to whether this played a part in current happenings is yet to be known.

This move by iPappi will surely not go unnoticed by Ghanaian producer community and might set the tone for fair dealings with other producers in the future.

Despite a few people being displeased with this announcement, legendary Ghanaian music producer, Da’Hammer (of the Last Two), has applauded the move indicating he is proud of iPappi.
