The concert which was streamed from Shatta Wale’s ship house residence inside East Legon, saw the dancehall act performed with a live band for over an hour.
The online show dubbed “Faith Concert” gathered over 130,000 viewers from around the world during its broadcast.
According to Shatta Wale, Faith Concert is to show his concern over how the novel Coronavirus has locked down everyone in their homes, therefore, the need to entertain them in their abodes.
The “My Level” singer also added that the show was to bring hope to the people, that with God, Ghana and the world will come to normal again.
Social media was flooded with praises for Shatta Wale during and after the concert as he failed to disappoint with his showmanship, especially for the reason being that last night was one of the rare times to see him perform for more than an hour with a live band.

Legendary Ghanaian music star Mzbel endorses Artist manger and promoter Emmanuel Opare Boafo aka Mod Dee.
In an interview with the entrepreneur and songstress she said she’s starting a new record label called Beljam Records, managed by Mod Dee whom she described as Super and more visible with the new music industry.
She also disclosed their first signee is currently in the studio recording and groomed to soon be outdoored.

The Ministry of Health has announced that two cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Ghana.
The cases, according to the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, were confirmed on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
In a televised addressed from the Ministry of Information Thursday evening, the Health Minister said the two cases are the first cases to be recorded in Ghana.
“Laboratory results of the two confirmed cases were received at the same time from the Noguchi Memorial Institute of Medical Research. Both individuals returned to Ghana, one from Norway, and the other from Turkey so these are imported cases of COVID-19.
“Both patients are currently being kept in isolation and are stable. We have initiated processes for contact tracing,” the Minister said.
He gave the assurance that the government of Ghana together with all health partners will continue to work assiduously to ensure the situation is contained.

A video has emerged of renowned Highlife singer-songwriter Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, leading a church group in a worship session.
The programme in question is believed to be organised by Rev Dr Abbeam Danso, founder of God’s Solution Centre.
The video was posted by the official youtube account of COP [Church of Pentecost] – Ashaiman Area Music.
Present at the programme where KiDi performed his class art was a blend of musicians including as Wendy Shay and her manager, Bullet as well as Rev Dr Abbeam Danso himself.
Those present at the event looked shocked as the artiste ministered gospel songs such as Be Magnified by Don Moen and other captivating local worship songs such as Wona Ye Twen Wo.
The video has since been trending as social media users are of the view that the secular artiste has led individuals in worship to God even better than many gospel artistes do in these days.
The song was performed in a solemn-but-captivating manner and punctuated with deep spiritual lines that should be able to draw any worshipper closer to his God.

Ghanaian rap sensation, Opanka took time off his schedules to show love to pupils of Twedaase Primary School on Friday, Valentines Day.
The school located in the Tema East Municipality is the former school of the multiple award-winning artiste, as he shared many goodies which include chocolates, school sets, among others with some students.
Speaking in an interview, Armstrong Affum as he’s known in real life, was elated to pay a visit to his alma mater and hopes it would inspire the students.
”I am very happy to spend time with these kids especially on this special day of love. I realized these kids wouldn’t have any love on Vals days so I decided to make them feel loved on this special day and hope it would inspire them to become great future leaders,” Opanka said.
Opanka is expected to release his first single of the year titled ”Blow My Mind” which features another music sensation Kelvynboy early March.
