Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale brings street energy and cultural expression together on “Gborgborvi.” The release is accompanied by a lively official music video featuring a massive street gathering, luxury automobiles and energetic performances. Shatta Wale takes centre stage, delivering his performance shirtless in white trousers, sunglasses and diamond chains while standing on a white luxury sports car. The visuals also feature colourful characters, including performers in clown and tiger masks, alongside dancers dressed in traditional Ghanaian attire.
Directed by an Afroculture film team, the video combines contemporary street culture with traditional displays. A convoy of luxury vehicles, decorated horseback riders and large crowds create a celebratory atmosphere throughout the production. The contrast between the modern automobile convoy and the traditional horse procession gives the visuals a distinctive character, while the costumed performers add to the spectacle. “Gborgborvi” delivers a bold visual presentation that puts Shatta Wale’s performance and Ghanaian street culture at the centre.
