Quamina MP brings the original version of his breakthrough record back to streaming platforms with “Wiase Y3 D3 (Original),” featuring Yung C. The Afro-Beat single was released on October 1, 2026, marking the first time the original version has been officially available on digital streaming platforms.
Reflecting on the record, Quamina MP revealed that he and Yung C made the song while drinking coconut water with empty pockets. Despite having very little at the time, the song captured a positive outlook on life and became an important part of his journey. He describes “Wiase Y3 D3” as the soundtrack to happiness, built around staying happy, thankful and determined to keep going.
The release also gives listeners an opportunity to hear the OG version of a song that played an important role in Quamina MP’s rise. His message surrounding its release is centred on gratitude, faith, happiness and perseverance, with the rapper giving thanks to God for how far the journey has come. “Wiase Y3 D3 (Original)” is now available on digital streaming platforms with Yung C.
