Ghanaian producer Mike Kwa6i (formerly Yung Fly) marked his June 6 birthday the way he always does: by dropping something for the fans. This year it’s Sonic Montage, a four-track cinematic EP available exclusively on EVEN until 13th June and then to all streaming platforms.
The project imagines end-credit soundscapes for four films he loves: Dune, Blade, Blade Runner 2049, and The Harder They Fall. For a producer who’s spent years behind Ghanaian music’s biggest names, Sonic Montage is Mike Kwa6i making something entirely his own.
