Black Sherif opens a brighter chapter with SUN SHERIF, a six-track EP that follows the introspective weight of The Villain I Never Was and IRON BOY. The project arrives with a more hopeful outlook, building on the spirit of his 2026 single “Find a Way,” which was created as an anthem for Ghana’s World Cup campaign.

On SUN SHERIF, the Konongo-born artist appears to move beyond self-doubt, emotional baggage and survivor’s guilt, embracing a greater sense of peace and confidence. Opening track “Expresso” reflects the drive and ambition that have defined his journey, while “Forever” featuring AratheJay explores the comfort earned through hard work and the compromises that can accompany success.

The EP also ventures into themes of love, vulnerability and emotional growth. On “Run Around,” Black Sherif examines the emotional barriers that can affect relationships, while “Love Again” featuring Full Blown represents the project’s deeper message of healing and allowing oneself to embrace love once more. With tracks including “Jolie” and “Frontline,” SUN SHERIF presents Black Sherif in a more hopeful space, focused on growth, release, self-acceptance and moving forward.
