Omah Lay – Artificial Happiness [Official Music Video]

Omah Lay unveils the official music video for “Artificial Happiness,” the opening track on his 2026 album Clarity of Mind. The Nigerian singer explores the difference between genuine happiness and feelings that only provide temporary relief, setting the tone for the introspective project.

On “Artificial Happiness,” Omah Lay reflects on inner struggles, temporary escapes and the pressure to keep moving forward. The lyrics touch on ambition, money, faith and the determination to push through difficult moments, while acknowledging that certain feelings may fade with time. His delivery balances vulnerability with a desire to keep going despite the challenges he faces.

The official music video brings a cinematic dimension to the record, placing Omah Lay in a mysterious warehouse setting centred around a white tree and a gathering of enigmatic figures. With Omah Lay contributing to the creative direction and NWSPK directing, the visual extends the song’s introspective atmosphere beyond the music.

LYRICS

Ígbo is telling on me
I like what it’s saying make I no stop
Before morning the feeling will wash off
But tonight we will die at the war front

Money when no complete
It will never ever be my portion
No time for many discussions
The thing long e reach her subconscious

Blood of Jesus
No stop

Ígbo is telling on me
E say no stop
Ígbo is telling on me
E say no stop
Ígbo is telling on me
E say no stop
Ígbo is telling on me
Blood of Jesus

I don’t see anyone
When fit come close to me
All of them know
All of them know ah
Nobody be my mate
I Dey tell you with a clean mind
Port harcourt Omah Lay
Anything when you don see
