The song continues the conversation introduced in the original, where Obaa Kumson called out a lover for taking advantage of someone physically before walking away. “Diko,” which translates to “eat and go,” established the central idea behind the record.
On “DIKO II,” Obaa Kumson and Sista Afia build on that theme with a direct and unapologetic approach to relationships, attraction and the consequences of treating someone as temporary. The collaboration gives the sequel another perspective while maintaining the bold attitude associated with the original song.
