The record highlights her ability to combine rhythm, melody and personality, while maintaining the vocal character that has made her one of Nigeria’s recognisable female voices. At 115 BPM, the song carries a clear dancefloor-ready feel.
The release is accompanied by an official music video that highlights Niniola as a defiant runaway bride, ditching a traditional church wedding in front of stunned nuns to embrace full independence. It introduces the visual identity of this new era. Rather than explaining the concept outright, the campaign leaves room for interpretation, allowing the music and visuals to establish the mood around “TIKA”.
