FOLA revisits the feeling of longing on “miss u ii (nriri),” a romantic Afrobeats record that serves as a follow-up to his 2023 song “Miss You.” Released on October 6, 2026, the song is the fifth track on FOLA’s upcoming 9 album.
On “miss u ii (nriri),” FOLA expresses how deeply he misses someone special, describing the emotional effect of being apart from the person he loves. The song combines longing, affection and devotion, with FOLA making it clear that he wants to maintain the relationship and remain close to his partner. His use of English and Yoruba gives the record a personal and intimate character.
Produced by Sbthaproducer, the song places FOLA’s melodic vocals at the centre of a smooth Afrobeats production. The accompanying official lyric video puts the words of “miss u ii (nriri)” on screen, allowing listeners to follow the romantic story behind the sequel as FOLA continues building anticipation for 9.
