Ghanaian global icon Black Sherif delivers an emotional, cinematic release with the official video for “Run Around”.
Directed by Joshua Libertine, the visual portrays Black Sherif hooked up to some lab equipment while experiencing vivid flashbacks of love and affection. Though one cant really tell whether these flashbacks are real or induced by the equipment, it does evoke yearning. Striking a balance between futuristic concepts and raw vulnerability, “Run Around” showcases Black Sherif’s artistic depth and captivating visual storytelling.
As part of the six-track SUN SHERIF project, “Run Around” highlights a more reflective side of Black Sherif’s artistry. Its intimate mood and relationship-focused theme make it one of the project’s more personal moments, showing an artist willing to confront vulnerability while embracing a new chapter in his sound.
