Intro

Worlasi: Look at me…
M.anifest: godMC… dɔdɔ ti dɔ…m digidi

Verse 1

I’m an expensive guy you want cheap side?
Can’t strong arm me with a weak vibe
If i decide to let the beat ride
It’s a major move to over the minor dudes
Everyday some hater dey write love song
E dey funny me, the irony it’s quite strong
I’m in a dark place, write to keep the lights on
With blind ambition set my sights on greatness
Ramadan mek fast no time for lateness
Young cassius I am the greatest
Mr-always-dey-talk-without fail
You’re too short to be telling tall tales

Hook (Worlasi)

Look at me
Nyemɛgbɛ
Nyenkumɛ
What you see
Kyekor na Kpor
U go see, confi
Hundred percent

Verse 2

I put my chest out
Tell the rest that M.anifest the best out, no kidding
Quiet for a while, I was in my kitchen
Till i was smitten by another bad riddim
Do i got fully loaded clips? Lord willing
Give me a mic and i might rob givens
Even though I’m grounded I have no ceilings
Bout to have the whole world tripping
You dey beef with uhhhhh, nah i’m chilling
Certified villain, Milk-D top billing
(what more can I say) kingpin on my vim ting
Keep it rolling on these michelins

Hook (Worlasi)

Look at me
Nyemɛgbɛ
Nyenkumɛ
What you see
Kyekor na Kpor
U go see, confi
Hundred percent

Verse 3 Worlasi

Everyting nice for worla
I chock one corner
Next season still we winning we the reason all the place turn up
Normally deep tings
But now we dey ease tings
Me den M.anifest bout to move tings
Raise tings Yall ni**as better rethink

Lyrics: M.anifest – god MC

[Verse 1]

I pull up on the future, screaming hallelujah

In a barracuda smoking buddha in fallujah

Clash of the titans i had dinner with medusa

Don’t turn me into stone, boy I’m a ruler

They sipping amarula me i kick it with a cougar

Tonight will be lit, super

Califragilisticexpiali I’m precocious

These dudes you call cool, atrocious

Don’t get intoxicated by these drunkards

They run on prejudice it’s a trump card

On my lampard chale I’m so frank

Give you the blues who is who? go rank

Don’t measure your pen with mines, you pantomime and asinine

And you wanna be king? Get your ass in line

These no be bars I’m just passing time

[Refrain]

Chale i dey,I just chock it

Laughing hard till there are tears in a bucket

Some of my peers spineless they are muppets

Always nodding like a lizard, damn it, agama…

Yo

What’s a king to a god mc?

Numero uno, that be me

[Verse 2]

You no be star no be star, you’re a comet at best

Don’t ask me no questions, no comment; i rest

Tell the fashion police they can make an arrest

These boys copying the west looking a mess

It’s retarded, tell will.i.am to get me started

I got a strong will, i am the prime target

Go to the market, buy yourself manners

Don’t use my name in vain, that’s just for starters

Hors d’oeuvres i got some nerve

On my Djokovic fear me when i dey serve

Ghanaians so concerned about diplomas and awards

Titles and the bible, i find it absurd

Went from inspector Bediako to Khumkhum Bhagya

Progress or regress? now who you calling sucker

When the boss is around who can you boss around?

We some intelligent niggas that cannot dumb it down

Even my nonfa back then had sense in it

Difference between me and them? you’re sensing it

My talent, my vision, where i come from

Just a couple of things you put respek on

I’m a rare breed no wonder i’m in rare form

All the m.anifans know that i’m there for ‘em

I’m in rare form, madinafour know sey i’m there for them

[Refrain]

I just chock it

Laughing hard till there are tears in a bucket

Some of my peers spineless they are muppets

Always nodding like a lizard, damn it, agama…

Yo

What’s a king to a god mc?

Numero uno, that be me

[Verse 3]

Dem dey claim pure gold but dem be copper

Don’t compare a name dropper to a showstopper like me

You ain’t’ gotta like me broda

Only 5 10, but the flow be t-taller

Afro trapping like hoteps with dope left

Though i often write my default is to go left

W’ani aba anaa?

Vex for your corner, saa

Kidnap your ears for years now it’s stockholm syndrome

My train of thought is darker than my skin tone

I pen poems alone listening to nina simone and koo nimo

God as my witness i’m taking no prisoners

The hype machine mean, but it won’t imprison us

For the underdawgs and outlaws go get yours

Yes we dey form, no we no go conform

If you talk funny and think you’ll go scott free

Then travel safe my guy, godspeed

Nowhere cool coming soon for your cd changer

E go shatta glass ceilings, it’s a game changer

God mc never been a faker

I dey go see shatta for mahama paper

My guy obidi, let me return the favor

You know what time it is, later is greater

'Cease Fire' Song Was Leaked' - Gemini www.beatznation.com .jpg.jpg

In an interview on Hitz fm’s Showbiz This Week hosted by MzGee, the rapper described as the fastest English rapper, said, “I didn’t release the Cease Fire song.”.

According to Gemini, “I didn’t release the Cease Fire track. I felt it was too much rap.  Next thing I know,  it’s on Peace Fm’s morning show and Joy Fm’s morning show”. He said, he only recorded the song and sent to them [Manifest and Sarkodie] to record their verses on it.

“I didn’t even know about the beef between Sarkodie and M.anifest. A friend in the States was the one that told me about it and I decided to record a song to tell them that if they had time out of their busy schedules to beef, then they should have time to record their verses on my song.”

Gemini’s Cease Fire  was released on 6th July,2016 and its being reviewed together with Jay So’s Preach as one of the few songs released in reference to Sarkodie – M.anifest beef.

However , this did not go down well with Shatta Wale who also responded saying

People are fighting for oil, gold, diamond and money to survive and you just have some myopic mind down somewhere fighting over a community show..If Nima be your own take and take do Jollof rice..I wont fight a stupid fight and even Win..  Shatta Wale

AJ Da hottest; rapper, songwriter and Afropop singer says he has lost respect for two of the male technical experts and pundits on the AM Pluzz show where he premiered his new song titled Benkemormi on June 30, 2016.

“The premier was interesting and I felt very honored to have had the opportunity to be on the AM Pluzz Show, but to make a long story short, these two individuals namely Willi Roi and Oteng on that show have lost my respect. It seems they had forgotten they are talking to a former DJ who has listened to songs back in the days of some of toady’s big name artistes and noticed their potential to become hits even before they became hits” AJ Dahottest said.

AJ Da hottest said in his days he carefully listened to the songs of upcoming artistes in the beginning of their careers like “Swagger” by Rough & Smooth and “Like Father Like Son” by Konfi who are household names in Ghana today and had the insights to know such songs among many others, had the potential to become commercial hits.

“The songs by Rough & Smooth and Konfi are just a few of the many hits I discovered and gave a lot of airplay in my time as a radio DJ even when back in my days on air no one really gave those songs a chance. Yet today look how far they’ve come as successful hits. All am saying is listeners are not sound engineers and even those who are will honestly give a song the deserving break when it has hit potentials, unless they are being dishonest with their opinions.” — AJ said.

Benkemormi according to AJ is a commercial style song for the people designed to make the Ghanaian listener dance. Listeners of the songs on the airwaves for the most part don’t care about these so called technical stuff involving sound engineering and “I wish Willi Roi and Oteng of AM Pluzz were at my show with Stonebuoy and friends on July 1, 2016 to see the positive reaction of the crowd when I did my first live performance of it, something I have videos and photos of to support.”

“These two individuals whom I mentioned by name need to know that times are changing and if they can not get with the changes then they need to sit back because sound engineers like Danny Beatz who worked on my latest single and a couple other tracks of mine have a lot of credibility and have made hit songs for many.”

For these AM Pluzz show individuals to damn the work of Danny Beatz which negatively affects the works of others like him with their talk about beat progression of the Benkemormi track being the same from start to end is laughable according to AJ. When one listens to Shatta Wale’s Kakai they can quickly realize that it has the same beat progression style from the beginning to the end and yet it is the biggest song in Ghana today.

Stonebwouy’s Go Higher was critiqued in the same manner by these two individuals on the AM Pluzz show yet that song is today a major hit in Ghana. “I personally do not have a problem being constructively criticized but when your critique really has nothing to do with the value of the subject and rather goes to attack the person of the individual sound engineer and their art then it becomes an issue with me” AJ argued.

AJ said he personally thinks It is about time that Sammy Flex, the host of AM Pluzz Show gets rid of those two so called experts so they don’t confuse and misinform the public or run the credibility of his station and hard working sound engineers to the ground.

AJ gave shout outs to Producer/musician/Sound Engineer Danny Beatz for his great work on commercializing a lot of songs in Ghana and the beat of his single Benkemormi which is was released July 1, 2016.

Collaboration With Shatta Wale Didn't Materialize - Stonebwoy www.beatznation.com .jpg

Reigning Ghanaian Reggae / Dancehall artiste of the year and BHIM Nation boss Stonebwoy revealed that plans of jumping on a song with Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale failed to materialize. He revealed this via an interview with PLUZZ Fm’s Fiifi Selah , on the Reggae Embassy Show.

He stated that BHIM Nation and the Shatta Movement are two big forces on the Ghanaian music scene. He continued by saying that back in January 2016,  a Telecommunications company ( TELCO (Name Withheld) ) stepped in to get him (Stonebwoy) and Shatta Wale on a song .

Upon both parties agreeing , the next issue was the question of which artiste would be featuring the other on the song (Shatta Wale featuring Stonebwoy ? or Stonebwoy featuring Shatta Wale?) .

Stonebwoy however suggested it should be ” The TELCO ft Shatta Wale  & Stonebwoy” , so that the TELCO could use the same concept / idea in the future to bring other two rival artistes on one song.  The idea was applauded by everyone.

He concluded by Saying that “The meeting was good with us , but on the other hand it didn’t work …you understand? “.

Veteran Ghanaian actor, William Addo has accused movie producers of building mansions with monies meant to be given to actors as royalties.

The seasoned actor, who is popularly known as Akpatse was explaining why he was still soliciting for funds for his glaucoma and cataract second surgery on his right eye after benevolent people like Kwame Sefa Kayi, Bola Ray, Akwesi Aboagye etc. had already donated some cash for his first surgery on his left eye.

According to Akpatse who spoke with Reagan Mends of razzonline.com, the movie producers are to be blamed for his inability to raise funds for the second surgery, owing to the fact that the movie producers have used royalties supposed to be given to actors and actresses.

“My brother, I am very sad people are still criticizing me for soliciting for more funds for my second surgery. Let me tell you a secret, royalties which are supposed to be given to we actors have been used by the movie producers to build big mansions. It’s very sad my brother”, Akpatse alleged with grief.

Akpatse further explained,”Although the Actors Guilds of Ghana receives royalties which should be shared to actors and actresses, the money is very small thus it is used for capacity building. But what the producers receive from the Ministry of Finance is very big which in actual terms is suppose to be given to veteran actors or actors who have played lead roles in movies, part of the royalty they receive. My brother, the money is very big and they are using it to build big mansions in Kumasi.”

Akpatse, which literally means a trickster in the Ga language and who has played the lead role in most Ghanaian movies has appealed to the producers to desist from amassing wealth with monies meant for actors especially veteran actors.
