Getting the numbers do not come on fatal grounds without the push and endless support. Following his guest appearance in a music video shoot at Mc Kays Night Club at Achimota, DJ Quest is celebrating his numbers which most DJ’s would only dream of.

With a sum total of 44 contents tallied via his Audiomack channel which comprises of singles, Playlists, DJ mixes and promoted singles, he has actually arrived at half a million which he dares everybody to expect soon.

DJ Quest has become an icon on Audiomack with every fresh scrutinizes releases from him channel trending in their respective categories.

Recent of all his newly posted instrumental titled “Mad Program Riddim” produced by Jamaican award-winning producer Anthony Thomas of Anthony Records. The said riddim from DJ Quest was trending in instrumental and Afro beats category on Audiomack up to date.

Following the success story in the Volta Region under the Volta Music Project, the Musiga Volta chapter in collaboration with ‘Appietus’ has successfully recorded and released 10x new artist and singles of a 10x track regional Album currently making waves in the region, in preparation towards a regional album launch and fundraising concert set for the 4th of November 2018.

Mr. Appiah Dankwah, popularly known as Appietus–InDaMix again in collaboration with the Chairwoman of the Musicians Union of Ghana Central Region Chapter Nana Ekua Apeatsewah II, Tufuhemaa at Abura Wiomua of the Abura State, Central Region; popularly known as Queen1 over the weekend successfully launched the ‘Central Music Project’ 2018 #cmp in Cape Coast.

The Seminar was held on Saturday the 20th of October, 2018; at the plush Cape Coast Hotel located at Padu Estates. Appietus and the Central Region Musiga teams ahead of the Seminar arranged a series of Radio and TV Interviews to create the much needed awareness amongst the youth and all stake holders within the central region music industry.

Okokroko 96.9 FM, Eagle 87.7 FM, Cape 93.3 FM just to name a few, where some of the Radio stations engaged for publicity prior to the seminar on Saturday. We managed to get a video from the communications team on one of the interviews. Several topics where discussed including the main objective of the Appietus National Music Project and what it means for the 10x lucky musicians to be selected at the later stage within the central region.

Mr. Appiah Dankwah explained that the project will bring about change in Show Business and set the tone for a healthy competition within and amongst all the ten regions where each region will have a Regional Album to promote and market it extensively within the region and beyond to makes waves all over the country. He explained that the move and its success will largely depend on the involvement of all stake holders within the entertainment industry of the Central Region and for that matter all other regions; that is Presenters, DJ’s ,Technical Programme directors ,video directors, fanatics and more. Last but not the least, having that regional agenda to fully support and promote your own products to the rest of the country and the world.

The Chairwoman of the Musicians Union of Ghana Central Region Chapter Nana Ekua Apeatsewah II, popularly known as Queen 1 speaking on the same topic elaborated that the project will initiate an unprecedented agenda for her administration, that is the development and production of the very first Regional Album under her watch as Chairwoman of Central Region Musiga and she is bent on making sure the project will be of a huge success and open opportunities to generate funds through donation and corporate contributions at the launch of the Album Concert slated for a later date after the completion of the selection process, recording and then finally release by December 2018.

Participants where every excited and have huge hopes for a positive outcome from their bidding. Mr Appiah Dankwah in his speech placed emphasise on the importance and significance of the efforts of Queen 1 the Region Chairwoman pushing for the #CMP to be launched second as part of the ‘Appietus National Music Production Project’. Appietus also lauded the regional team for creating and bringing maximum attention and hope to the youth within the region who dream of making a carrier within the entertainment industry.

The seminar saw the attendance of some 60 to 80 people many of them arriving late. However the organisers also gave a grace period of two weeks ,thus till the end of October to allow a lot more people the chance to participate and also normalise their registration status with the musicians union of Ghana Central Regional Chapter. Participation is strictly based on the fact that one must be a registered member and in good standing with the Musicians Union under the Central Regional Chapter to be eligible for participation.

Forms for participation cost Ghc20.00 cedis and the full year registration for Musiga membership is at Ghc114.00 cedis, students are charged Ghc60.00 cedis upon proof of Student Identity card. Chairwoman of the region, Nana Ekua Apeatsewah II, popularly known as Queen 1, made is clear that all monies collected are directly administered and accounted for by the Central Regional Chapter in collaboration with the head office of the Musicians Union of Ghana in Accra.

Appietus expressed how happy and satisfied he was to see the interest generated by his Central Music Project campaign, and thus it gives him a solid conviction that he is championing a good cause and that he is bringing real opportunities to the door steps of all up and coming musicians across the nation.

After a successful launch in the Central Region the music Mogul Appietus ‘In Da Mix’ and his formidable team will communicate dates for the other regions via future publications .With my observations I will say all upcoming musicians and entertainers in all regions must align themselves to take full advantage of this one time musical production opportunity which promises to launch your entertainment carrier.

‘Bra Fie’ (Come Home) see Fuse collaborate with his long time hero Damian “Jr Gong” Marley. “Damian is on a similar mission. He’s a voice for the Caribbean and for Africans living outside of Africa. Having him on the record was so important, especially for all the work that he’s done before such as his album ‘Distant Relatives’ with Nas. There’s a sense of separation between Africans, Caribbeans, African-americans, African British, it’s time to wake up and rediscover ourselves.” says Fuse.

‘Bra Fie’ is taken from Fuse ODG’s forthcoming album ‘New Africa Nation’ (released February 1st 2019). On it he aims to build upon his debut album album’s achievements by creating tangible results. Fuse is passionately engaged in helping African people to spread word of their culture by prospering in creative endeavours that include a record label, a music festival, a fashion brand and even children’s toys and books. By connecting with the international community, Fuse believes that those cultural roots will inspire investment and tourism from the world-at-large.

Female singer Sista Afia is finally set to release her maiden album on December 1st 2018

After dedicating close to 2 years to compile songs on the album, the “Slay Queen” Hitmaker believes the time to make songs from the album public is now

She will be hosting a mega concert at the WestHills Mall on the 1st of December to unveil “Queen Solomon” to fans

Sista Afia didnt give much details about artistes expected to be on the album but it is of no doubt that she is the only female musician who has worked with all the top musicians in Ghana

From our guess, the album will have songs with Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei, Shatta Wale, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, etc

Factually speaking, Sista Afia has worked so hard this year, entertaining and playing major shows in and outside Ghana and other rural areas in the country

Her concert on December 1st will be one of the biggest in the history of Ghanaian entertainment, since the anticipation from social media users have begun already

Sista Afia has promised to release more details about the album, launch and concert to the public very soon.

The ‘Tonga’ producer further added that credits should be given to the originator if the song was meant to be a cover.

DJ Mingle on 6th October , 2018 was inside his Alma Mata UCC (University of Cape Coast) to support Echo House on their 2018 train of Fresh “A” Fair series which kicked off in Cape Coast and follows up with KNUST & University of Ghana Legon. The concert saw Gh artistes R2bees and A.I. as headlining the performances.

Dj Mingle was one of two Djs of the programme and this is a feel of the jam sessions he had that got students jamming throughout the night and talking about him days after the program was held.

The 3RD TV Music Video Awards, which came off on Sunday, September 29th at One2One Bar inside Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, saw Mix Master Garzy being adjudged as the Best Music Producer.

Mix Master Garzy was in the category of some of the best music producers in the country i.e. Kill Beatz, DJ Breezy, Willis Beatz, B2, Awaga, Snow Beatz, Kidnature Beatz, Tubhani Beatz, and Slo Dezzy.

However, his hard work proved beyond reasonable doubts that when it comes to beat making in Ghana and Africa he’s incomparable thereby beating everyone to be crowned as the Best Music Producer.
