Holyrina joins forces with Kwesi Amewuga on “Above Them All,” a confident Ghanaian rap collaboration about self-belief, ambition and rising beyond the people who doubt you. Built around the repeated declaration of being above the competition, the song captures the mindset of artistes who believe in their potential and refuse to let criticism or negativity hold them back.
Throughout his verse, Kwesi Amewuga reflects on believing in his success from the beginning, recognising fake friends and staying focused on his progress. He looks back at his humble beginnings and the struggles that shaped him, including the pain of losing his mother. Rather than returning to his past circumstances, he is determined to keep moving forward. His words combine confidence with personal reflection, showing that the journey to success involves both hardship and the belief that better days are ahead.
The recurring “Above Them All” hook reinforces the song’s message of self-confidence and determination, while the demand to play his music reflects an artist who wants his work and achievements to be recognised. Holyrina and Kwesi Amewuga deliver a track rooted in street ambition, resilience and pride in how far they have come. The song encourages listeners to stay committed to their goals and keep pushing forward despite the doubters.
