The Ghana Music Honours was established in 2012 to cultivate the understanding, appreciation and advancement of the contribution of recorded music to the Ghanaian society; from the artistic and technical legends of the past to the musical breakthroughs of succeeding generations of music professionals.
This year’s edition will take place at the at the National Theatre , Accra and as part of the activities for this year’s Ghana Music Week (GMW) Festival 2017, the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) will host the fifth edition of Ghana Music Honours on March 4.
Nomination Categories for the fifth edition of Ghana Music Honours include the Best DJ Honour as well as Music Producer Honour and the nominees are as follows :
