Ghanaian Skipper Asamoah Gyan has completed a season-long loan move to UAE side Al Ahli from Chinese Side Shanghai SIPG . Speaking to the press , he stated that returning to Al Ahli felt like coming “back home…”.

His move to the UAE comes after a shock failed medical at English side Reading , even though reports emerging indicate that the loan move to Reading collapsed because as part of the move , he had to forfeit the upcoming African Cup Of Nations , a condition that didn’t go down well with the patriotic Black Stars captain.
