E.L Unhappy With A Poster And This Is Why

Reigning VGMA artiste of the year E.L last night (1st November 2016) expressed his displeasure at organizers of the 2016 Ghana Music Awards UK for not putting him on their main poster for the event.

E.L went on to add a couple more tweets which did not go down too well with West Coast Ent , the organizers of the event, who also took to twitter to clarify a few things and state facts.

According to the Organizers ,

  • The Ghana Music Awards UK is based on Artistes & Songs that are doing well in UK.
  • There was never a  ‘MAIN’ poster for the event a fact E.L himself was aware of.
  • There are 5 posters for the event including one which had an image of E.L on GMAUK Organizers Hit Back At E.L
  • They had also sent E.L a personal nomination poster, a poster he or his management did not acknowledge in anyway and did not even post on their accounts. GMAUK Organizers Hit Back At E.L
  • They assume E.L’s problem is not with the poster.
  • Above all , they had done nothing wrong.

The tweets from the organizers were as follows:

Yesterday you said we didn’t do a poster with your pic, I twitted a poster we did with your pic and you still going on about it. 

What exactly is the problem because clearly it’s not about a poster that you are not on because I showed it to you yesterday. 

We didn’t forget anything, if yu pay attention it says Ghana Music Awards UK. It is based on Artistes & Songs that are doing well in the UK. .

We did 5 main posters, so the one that u tweeted isn’t the only main poster.That didn’t even have the date & venue. But I hear what u saying.
