Late in 2019, Yung Pabi blessed his fans’ ears with his premier EP, Running with Men on horses. After that, there’s been silence, at least from his mic. The tracks from the EP are making the rounds though, touching ears and touching lives.
On 9th June, there was a mic check, he tweeted “Been a while, smooth announcement tomorrow. I miss being in y’all speakers 🅿️”. All his fans became expectant, their desire and request were clear “Nbs protest we go do if you no drop tune give us”.
Pabi says he had no plans of putting out new music, not yet, but what the fans want, the fans usually get, they’re the reason he does this so he put out an unofficial artwork for a song titled #GuyNo, jointly produced by A list producer Magnom and young protégé Paa Bright.
On 12 June, he put out another artwork, this time the official artwork which came with the added bonus, for his fans, of the release date of his first official song in 2020: Monday, June 15th.
Pabi is happy and honored to present to you Guy No, a true song of the people. Its Afro groove and hip hop side makes it a great piece of art. Yung Pabi uses the rhythm to elaborate on how he does the impossible, how he stays winning. He makes us see why, he is the guy set to do the impossible. You should definitely not miss this sound.
