Darkovibes has been steady gifting us music consistently since the beginning of the year and it doesn’t look like he is any closer to slowing down as he brings us ‘Different’ just a week after his last release.

After a string of collaborations, first with KiDi on Bless Me and with Mugeez & Medikal on Y3 B3 S3i Wiase, Darkovibes gives us a solo offering that is as soothing as it is nostalgic.

Different is the first release off of a forthcoming special project and is produced by prolific producer Uche B and effectively brings a sample of one of the classic highlife songs of the early 2000s into the present via Darkovibes’ distinct vocal chops and a Caribbean leaning instrumentation that carries the listener through the experience of two very iconic sounds.

There is no denying that Darkovibes is one of the most influential and boundary pushing new artistes of the day with his ability to fuse and experiment with multi-genre, multi-language sounds and this new song further proves that in the crowd of new school acts, he is indeed different.
