Beloved Nigerian artiste 2Baba and Falz team up for a motivational anthem entitled “Rise Up”. The song thematically speaks to some of the existing issues that were exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. When brought closer to their home country, “Rise Up” also speaks to the mobilisation of people to fight against injustices such as the #EndSARS protests that made headlines in late 2020.
