sea (sea the Ufo)

sea, professionally known as sea the ufo, was raised in London by Jamaican and Ghanaian parents who imparted a sense of Afro‑Caribbean culture and resilience from an early age. She began honing her creative instincts as a dancer before gradually transitioning into songwriting and ghostwriting in her teenage years.

Despite early stage fright, sea turned inward and developed her craft behind the scenes until the desire to express through her own music prevailed. That shift led her to relocate to Ghana in early 2025 to pursue music full‑time, opting to embrace her Afro‑heritage in her artistic identity.

sea’s music draws from old‑school ragga, dancehall, and Jamaican-inflected inflections blended with ambient R&B textures. Her work aims to stitch together genres into emotional soundscapes that echo self‑discovery and spiritual peace.

Peace Riddim, her debut track, was described as “birthed from the raw determination to become more of one’s self”, a theme sea embodies through layered vocals, dreamlike sonics, and poetic lyricism that foreshadows deeper narratives to come.
