Singer Adina has denied claims that fellow musician King Promise established her musical career.
Born Adina Thembi, Adina admits, though King Promise has written a couple of her songs, it does not in any way suggest he made her career.
She told Joy News’ Doreen Avio “he wrote Too Late, Love Yourself and Nobody…King Promise did amazing for me but King Promise did not make my career because he is not God.”
She revealed that she pays for the services of the writer and singer, and praised him for his skills.
She, however, insists the melody of the song ‘Too Late’ had been done even before King Promise came on board following the recommendation of sound engineer Killbeatz.
According to the ‘Makoma’ hitmaker, various people, ultimately God, have collectively played major roles in the success of her career, not a single person.
